The Louis Diène Faye Foundation (LDFF) is an organization exclusively for charitable and educational purposes located in the D.C. Metropolitan area. LDFF is focused on improving knowledge and increasing awareness about diabetes and its complications. LDFF has two innovative programs:
Our goals is to impact the lives of African immigrants through the services and products we provide.
Our mission is to provide educational programs and bring awareness to diabetes issues that burden our community. The Louis Diène Faye Foundation (LDFF) is a food, nutrition, health, physical education, and social justice program.
LDFF promotes diabetes awareness and empowers African immigrants and refugees with lifestyle management skills paired with self-management skills necessary to improve their quality of life.
To help eliminate the stigma of diabetes
health issues in the African community along with people of African ancestry by developing a culturally-appropriate lifestyle curriculum that provides promotional materials and applications reflective of our community.
